With a very high clamping force of at least 1,600 N and a shock resistance of up to 100 g, Kendrion Kuhnke Automation now offers a magnetic lock that has been written for the topic of safety and therefore ideally suited for locking laboratory centrifuges.
Kendrion Kuhnke Automation is expanding its broad-based locking portfolio with the compact yet powerful magnetic lock AL HS7762. It has been specially developed for extreme requirements in the field of shock and vibration resistance and is therefore ideally suited for use in the flap locking of laboratory centrifuges.
The technically sophisticated locking mechanism enables a stable static clamping force of at least 1,600 N under a shock load of 100 g. The safe locking and unlocking before and after a centrifuge process is realized by a technically optimized bistable solenoid, from the new magnetic series BI-16. Optionally available for the magnetic lock 24VDC and 12VDC as operating voltage. Integrated microswitches are responsible for detecting the locking and unlocking. Due to the compact size of 70x70x18 (WxLxT), it is not only suitable for centrifuges, but also for other applications.
