Instead of having a plunger which moves through a coil, Spider-Valves have a flat armature that is pulled against the magnetic yoke in the energized position. The flat armature is fastened together with a leaf spring that presses the integrated sealing element against the valve seat in the de-energized position.
We have brought all our competencies to embed all the key features of our Spider technology in a new proportional valves series: the Spider μProp. Already successful used in Respiratory, Fuel cell systems or in electronic Flow Regulators, the Spider μProp may be controlled using DC current or PWM in open or closed loop control.
This valve combines the advantages of the Spider-μProp technology with the benefits of a pressure balanced valve. Due to its large orifice, high flow rates are possible. Furthermore, the valve is distinguished by a high reproducibility of the lift-off point. The electrical power consumption lies thereby in the lowest range of the Plate Armature Technology. The compact design of the valve provides a variety of assembly options for different areas of application.
