About us

For more than 45 years we have been developing and producing in Germany with 200 highly qualified employees innovative solenoid valves and valve manifolds according to customer requirements. At our site in Erligheim (nearby Stuttgart) we manufacture everything from one single piece over serial production up to mass production. Hereby we also create all necessary manufacturing and testing devices in house. This unique know how enables us to develop cost efficient high-tech solutions, which create a real competitive advantage for our customers. It is therefore no coincidence that our customers are global market leaders of the Medical Technology, Automotive, Industrial, Pneumatics, Aeronautics and last but not least Drinking Water industries.

Products and services

Our medium-sized company stands for stability and long-term growth. This has been achieved by consistent orientation towards our customers, high innovative strength and maximum product quality. Our broad range of products – from solenoid valves through electronic valves and intelligent pneumatics – is used in all sorts of applications in almost all branches all over the world. Approx. 200 employees develop and produce our products at our facilities near Stuttgart in an unusual architectural environment. For more than 25 years now we have regarded modern architecture with all its fascinating possibilities as an important marketing factor, and not least also as a motor for the continual optimisation of our processes.
Spider® Valves

Instead of having a plunger which moves through a coil, Spider-Valves have a flat armature that is pulled against the magnetic yoke in the energized position. The flat armature is fastened together with a leaf spring that presses the integrated sealing element against the valve seat in the de-energized position.

Spider μProp® valves & fluidic systems

We have brought all our competencies to embed all the key features of our Spider technology in a new proportional valves series: the Spider μProp. Already successful used in Respiratory, Fuel cell systems or in electronic Flow Regulators, the Spider μProp may be controlled using DC current or PWM in open or closed loop control.

Spider HiProp® Pressure-balanced proportional valve

This valve combines the advantages of the Spider-μProp technology with the benefits of a pressure balanced valve. Due to its large orifice, high flow rates are possible. Furthermore, the valve is distinguished by a high reproducibility of the lift-off point. The electrical power consumption lies thereby in the lowest range of the Plate Armature Technology. The compact design of the valve provides a variety of assembly options for different areas of application.

News & Innovations

P08 Spider µProp® by STAIGER
The company Staiger, specialist for customized valves, especially in medical engineering, introduces this year the newest member in the proportional valves line Spider µProp. Due to its very compact design, (diameter 8 mm, length 20 mm and orifice 0.3 mm or 0.5 mm) and its fine dosing properties (0 to 1.5  l/min at 1  bar(g)), the 8 mm Spider µProp offers new innovative perspectives and applications, for example in portable equipment (analytical, respiratory or mass flow controller). Of course, these valves are still adaptable to the specific requirements of our customers. For example the valve can embed user-defined sealing materials or voltage (12 or 24 V). The full Spider µProp family will be shown on MDM West. Visit us at our Booth 2971!
